Program Overview
The Inka Empire (TIE) Event Leadership and Workforce Development Academy is a hands-on experiential learning program designed to prepare students, alumni, and community members—particularly individuals with disabilities—for leadership, employment, entrepreneurship, and community engagement through the planning and execution of real-world events.
Participants will develop transferable workplace skills while working alongside experienced mentors in a collaborative, person-centered, and inclusive environment. Drawing upon principles from rehabilitation counseling, event management, customer service, entrepreneurship, and disability inclusion, the academy provides practical experience that prepares participants for success across a variety of industries.
